The Challenge

The non-alc category was blowing up and while Grüvi had some of the most award-winning beers and wines, their branding needed to level up.

 
 
 
 

The Solution

Upon getting to know the team and their vision, their optimism and joyful spirit was apparent. We knew we wanted that to come through. In addition, we wanted to create a design system that celebrates the award-winning flavor profiles and wide variety of beers & wines.

We crafted a simple wordmark with a “groovin’ U” and elevated the prominence of the brand name to keep it top of mind for consumers. We took inspiration from the tasting notes for each beverage to create a simple colorful pattern around the top third of the can. For example, the Golden Brew, with its honey notes, features a beehive-inspired motif, while the Juicy IPA's citrus flavors are echoed in a vibrant burst pattern. For products that have won Gold medals, we proudly showcased these accolades on the front of the packaging, with other awards displayed on the back. This balance ensures the prestige of Grüvi’s achievements is celebrated without overwhelming the design. With so many options, everyone is sure to find their Grüvi.
