CHALLENGE

The founder, Maxine, spent childhood summers in Southern India where she fell in love with the Nimbu Pani beverage her Aunt's would make her. She wanted to bring that experience to the US.

Solution

Upon hearing Maxine talk about her memories of India and tasting the bold flavorful drinks, we knew there was an opportunity to bring the sensory experience of that culture to the brand. First and foremost wanted to celebrate the flavors in a dynamic way in the central part of the can. We took inspiration from Maxine’s stories of riding elephants, wearing henna and watching Bollywood movies and laid out the elements in a way that would immediately catch ones eye. We had to give the US consumer a frame of reference they could understand, so we landed on Sparkling Lemonade (or Limeade).
